TheAthleticsDepartment.com has always displayed and archived the honor teams selected by coaches, the media and coaches association. The creation of TheAthleticsDepartment.com cross country honors teams keeps in the web site’s mission of promoting the success of Texas student-athletes
Cross Country is a sport that doesn’t have coach-voted teams for all districts.
TheAthleticsDepartment.com teams will be noted with the “TAD” organization on TheAthleticsDepartment.com honors page. TheAthleticsDepartment.com will display any coach-voted teams submitted in this sport as well as the TAD lists.
The teams are determined by the results of the district, regional and state meets. The top 10 individuals at each meet will be first team; the next five will be second team; and any runners on an advancing team, but not finishing in the Top 15 are honorable mention.
