Grace Media, LLC is donating a portion of its advertisement revenue to schools through the newly formed The Athletics Department Foundation.
The pilot program during the 2014-15 school year will begin with a $6,000 donation. The Foundation will give six $1,000 grants to high schools with a link to any TheAthleticsDepartment.com page on their school or ISD website. The Foundation will be funded in the future with advertising revenues from TheAthleticsDepartment.com. Sponsors will be spotlighted as contributors to The Athletics Department Foundation grants distributed directly to high schools.
UIL, TAPPS and SPC schools can enter by linking these TheAthleticsDepartment.com pages to their webpage:
- Football schedule, results, standings
- Honor teams (all-district, all-state, all-region)
- Playoffs schedule results
- Playoff history for team sports
Additionally, schools can embed a football standings widgets on their page for entry in the Foundation.
